SEND Teaching Assistant

Protocol Education is recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant to work within a supportive SEND school environment.

Location: Morpeth & Cramlington
Contract: Full-Time

About the Role

You will support pupils with Autism, communication needs, learning difficulties and additional educational needs, helping them engage with learning and achieve their full potential.

What You'll Be Doing

Providing 1:1 and small group support
Supporting learning and classroom engagement
Assisting with interventions and targeted support
Encouraging social and emotional development
Supporting positive behaviour strategies
Building trusting relationships with pupils

We're Looking For

Experience working with children or vulnerable adults
Patient and nurturing approach
Strong communication skills
Ability to work as part of a team
SEND experience desirable

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
