Are you a graduate looking to gain hands-on experience working with children and young people?
A specialist SEND school in Newcastle is looking for a motivated Graduate SEND Learning Mentor to join their supportive team. You’ll work closely with pupils who have a range of additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH and communication difficulties.
This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates considering careers in Teaching, Educational Psychology, Child Psychology, Speech & Language Therapy or Children's Mental Health.
Location: Newcastle
Pay: £92.63–£105 per day
Contract: Full-time, Long-Term
The Role
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support
- Help pupils manage behaviour and emotional regulation
- Support communication, confidence and social development
- Deliver engaging activities and interventions
- Assist teachers with classroom learning
- Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils
- Work alongside experienced SEND professionals
