A specialist SEND school in Newcastle upon Tyne is looking for a Graduate SEND Learning Mentor to support pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH needs and communication difficulties.
This role provides valuable experience working directly with children and young people who require additional support, making it an excellent stepping stone into child-focused professions.
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Pay: £92.63 - £105 per day
Contract: Full-time, Long-Term
What you'll be doing
- Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups
- Delivering intervention activities
- Supporting behaviour and emotional regulation
- Encouraging communication and confidence
- Assisting with classroom learning
- Working alongside experienced SEND professionals
