SEND Teacher – Newcastle upon Tyne (Full-Time)

Pay: Competitive Daily Rate (Dependent on Experience)

About the Role

This role involves planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to meet a variety of learning needs. You'll work closely with Teaching Assistants, pastoral teams and external professionals to ensure every pupil receives the support they need to succeed.

What you'll be doing

Planning and delivering differentiated lessons
Supporting pupils with a range of SEND needs
Creating an engaging and inclusive classroom environment
Monitoring progress and adapting learning accordingly
Working closely with support staff and parents
Promoting emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour
Encouraging independence and confidence
Contributing to EHCP reviews and pupil targets

We're looking for

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A passion for inclusive education
Strong classroom management skills
The ability to build positive relationships
A flexible and creative approach to teaching
Experience within SEND is desirable but not essential
