SEND Tutor - Flexible Hours

Protocol Education is recruiting SEND Tutors to support pupils who require additional academic support outside of a traditional classroom setting.

Location: Jesmond, Heaton, Gosforth, Wallsend, North Shields, Morpeth, Blyth, Cramlington, Alnwick & surrounding areas
Contract: Flexible | Hourly Bookings

About the Role

Sessions are typically delivered on a 1:1 basis either in the home, community settings or alternative provisions.

Many pupils may have Autism, ADHD, SEMH needs, anxiety, school avoidance or EHCP requirements.

What You'll Be Doing

Delivering personalised 1:1 tuition
Planning engaging learning sessions
Supporting pupils with SEND and SEMH needs
Building confidence and engagement
Adapting learning to individual needs
Monitoring progress and providing feedback

We're Looking For

Qualified Teachers or experienced Tutors
Strong understanding of SEND and SEMH
Excellent communication skills
Adaptable and creative approach
Patient and nurturing attitude

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
