A primary school in Denton Burn is looking for a proactive 1:1 SEND Support Assistant to support a Year 1 pupil with challenging behaviour. This role would suit graduates who enjoy building positive relationships and helping children succeed.

What You'll Be Doing

• Providing dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil in Year 1.
• Supporting emotional regulation and behaviour development.
• Encouraging participation in classroom activities.
• Creating a positive and consistent daily routine.
• Promoting confidence and engagement.
• Collaborating with teachers and support staff.

Who We're Looking For

• Sports, Coaching or Youth Work graduates.
• Positive role models with strong communication skills.
• Individuals who remain calm under pressure.
• Experience supporting children or young people is advantageous.
• A willingness to learn and adapt.
