Protocol Education is recruiting a full-time Graduate Sports Teaching Assistant to support pupils within a specialist SEND and SEMH setting in North Shields. This is an excellent opportunity for a Sports graduate, coach or active individual who wants to use their skills to inspire confidence, encourage positive behaviour and support young people both inside and outside the classroom.
Your experience in sport has already helped you develop valuable skills, including leadership, resilience, communication and teamwork. This role gives you the opportunity to bring those strengths into education while gaining hands-on experience that could shape your future career.

- Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups

- Working closely with teachers and pastoral staff
- Acting as a positive and dependable role model

You'll be enthusiastic, approachable and confident building relationships with young people. You'll understand how encouragement, structure and consistency can help pupils develop both in and beyond the classroom.

A degree in Sport, coaching experience or previous work with children and young people would be highly beneficial.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
