Working closely with students, families and school staff, you will play a key role in promoting positive wellbeing, engagement and achievement across the school community.

The Role

As a Pastoral Support Assistant, you will:

• Provide one-to-one support for students who require additional pastoral guidance.
• Build positive and trusting relationships with young people.
• Support students experiencing social, emotional or behavioural challenges.
• Promote positive behaviour, attendance and engagement in learning.
• Deliver interventions focused on wellbeing, resilience and personal development.
• Work closely with safeguarding, SEND and pastoral teams.
• Liaise with parents/carers where appropriate.
• Act as a positive role model throughout the school day.
