Job Title: Class 2 Driver (Working in a 2 person crew completing Home Deliveries)
Location: Northampton
Pay Rates: £17.83 to £19.98 p/h
Shifts:  Shift pattern of either 4 out of 7 days or Tuesday to Saturday (5 out of 7) with start times between 04:00 and 06:00
Experience: Minimum 2 years experience driving commercially
Licence Type: Class 2

Ignition Driver Recruitment are looking for Class 2 Drivers in Warrington to work with our client, who is the UK's leading Logistics & Distribution organisations for a leading DIY and homeware retailer.

You will require a clear DBS check before you can start.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Driving a Class 2 (Cat C) vehicle 
• Multi-drop Deliveries
• Working in a 2 person crew
• Delivering to Customer Homes
  • Heavy lifting (flat pack items)
• Vehicle checks and the usual paperwork

As this is a customer facing role, we are looking for people who are clean and tidy and have the ability to deal with different types of people. 

About you:
You must have your Class 2 Driving Licence and at least 2 years experience driving commercially. You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements. 

As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations and maintain your own compliance requirements and you will be required to complete a Drug & Alcohol test and also a driving assessment.
