Senior Quantity Surveyor – Nottingham

£65,000 + company car or car allowance + bonus + additional benefits

I’m currently working with an established housebuilder that is looking to add an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to its commercial team.

Based in Nottingham, this is a permanent opportunity working across a number of live residential developments, with responsibility for the commercial management of your developments from procurement through to completion.

The role will include:

• Managing commercial performance across multiple developments
• Controlling build costs, budgets and cash flow
• Managing variations and cost movements
• Procuring and managing subcontract packages
• Reviewing valuations and commercial reporting
• Working closely with Site and Construction teams
• Identifying cost-saving opportunities and managing potential overruns
• Monitoring subcontractor performance
• Providing commercial advice throughout the development

The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong Quantity Surveying experience within residential housebuilding
• Good knowledge of construction contracts and procurement
• Experience managing multiple developments
• Strong understanding of residential build costs
• Good Excel and commercial systems knowledge
• A commercially minded and organised approach
