Project Manager - Hyperscale Data Centres

We are partnered with a specialist engineering consultancy operating at the forefront of the European data centre market.

With continued growth across their hyperscale portfolio, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of mission critical projects from concept development through construction, commissioning and handover.

This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of a flagship project, working directly with leading technology and cloud clients.

About the Opportunity

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of a major data centre project throughout its full lifecycle.

You will act as the central point of coordination between clients, consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with programme, budget and quality objectives.

This is a hands on delivery position requiring strong technical understanding, commercial awareness and the ability to drive project performance across all phases.

Key Responsibilities - Project Manager

Lead the delivery of a major hyperscale or mission critical project from conception through execution
Develop and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders
Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering, design and construction teams
Manage project programmes, budgets, risks and reporting
Lead technical discussions relating to critical MEP systems, including electrical and HVAC infrastructure
Support procurement activities and contractor selection processes
Administer project contracts and commercial obligations
Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions where required
Ensure compliance with quality, safety and operational standards
Provide regular operational and financial reporting to senior leadership

Requirements - Project Manager

Degree qualified in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline
Experience delivering complex construction, industrial or mission critical projects
Strong understanding of MEP infrastructure, particularly electrical and/or HVAC systems
Proven ability to manage projects through design, construction and commissioning phases
Strong commercial and contractual management skills
Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities
Fluent English and French required
