Have you worked in care, support work, youth work, coaching or mental health and considered using your experience to support children in education?
We're looking for a full-time SEN Learning Partner to join a specialist primary resource base in North Bristol.
Previous school experience is useful, but it's not the only experience we're interested in.
If you're used to supporting people with additional needs, managing challenging situations or building relationships with individuals who need consistency and reassurance, you could already have many of the skills required.
You'll support children with:
- SEN and additional learning needs
- Social, emotional and mental health needs
- Emotional regulation
- Communication and interaction
- Challenging or distressed behaviour
- Independence and confidence
- Engagement with learning
We're particularly interested in people from backgrounds such as care, mental health, youth work, sports coaching, mentoring and support work.
You'll be supported by experienced school staff while you develop your skills within specialist education.
