Flexible SEND Teaching Assistant - Daily Supply

Location: Peterlee Area
Hours: Flexible Daily Assignments

We are currently recruiting SEND Teaching Assistants for daily and short-term cover positions across schools in the Peterlee area.

This role offers flexibility while providing rewarding opportunities to support students with additional needs.

Key Duties

Supporting students with SEND requirements
Working on a 1:1 basis when required
Assisting with classroom activities
Promoting independence and confidence
Supporting learning, communication, and wellbeing

Ideal Applicants Will Have

A caring and patient nature
Strong communication skills
Experience working with children or vulnerable adults
Flexibility and adaptability

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
