Location: Peterlee
Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday 8:30am-4:00pm | Wednesday 8:30am-5:00pm
Contract: Full-Time
Are you a graduate looking to gain valuable classroom experience before pursuing teacher training or a career in education?
We are recruiting for a Graduate Trainee Teaching Assistant to support students both academically and pastorally within a welcoming and inclusive school environment.
The Role
- Supporting learning across a variety of subjects
- Delivering intervention sessions to small groups
- Promoting positive behaviour and engagement
- Assisting students who require additional support
- Helping students build confidence and independence
- Working closely with teaching and pastoral teams
The Ideal Candidate
- Graduate or A-Level educated
- Passionate about helping young people succeed
- Professional and approachable
- Able to build strong relationships quickly
- Interested in a long-term career within education
Full mentoring and training provided throughout.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
