Learning Support Assistant

A specialist primary SEN school in Peterlee is looking for a compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join their team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting pupils with a range of additional needs.
- Delivering targeted interventions and classroom support.
- Assisting with literacy, numeracy, and communication activities.
- Helping children develop confidence and independence.
- Promoting positive behaviour and wellbeing.
- Supporting pupils both inside and outside the classroom.
We are looking for candidates who:
- Have experience in education, care, or support work.
- Are passionate about supporting SEN pupils.
- Are reliable, patient, and proactive.
- Enjoy working as part of a team.
- Hold an Enhanced DBS or are willing to obtain one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
