Supply Teaching Assistant - Peterlee Area

Location: Peterlee Area
Hours: Flexible Daily Assignments (Typically 8:30am - 3:30pm)
Contract: Daily Supply / Flexible Work

Are you looking for flexible work within education that fits around your existing commitments?

We are currently recruiting Supply Teaching Assistants to work across a number of primary and secondary schools throughout the Peterlee area. This role offers complete flexibility, allowing you to work on the days that suit you.

You may be supporting a variety of schools, so no two days are ever the same.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting students within classroom settings
  • Working with small groups and individual pupils
  • Assisting teachers with lesson delivery
  • Encouraging student engagement and participation
  • Supporting pupils with additional learning needs
  • Promoting positive behaviour throughout the school day

What We're Looking For

  • Enthusiastic and adaptable individuals
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A positive attitude towards supporting young people
  • Previous education experience is beneficial but not essential
  • Drivers are advantageous due to travel between sites

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
