Protocol Education are looking for Trainee Teaching Assistants to join schools across Peterlee and the surrounding areas.

You don't need to be a qualified Teaching Assistant. We are interested in people with the right attitude, patience and enthusiasm who want to build a career supporting children.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Trainee Teaching Assistant, you will receive support while gaining valuable experience in a school environment.

Your role may include:

• Supporting pupils in the classroom
• Working with individuals and small groups
• Helping pupils access their learning
• Encouraging positive behaviour
• Supporting children with SEND
• Helping with classroom activities
• Building positive relationships with pupils
• Supporting communication and social development
• Encouraging independence and confidence
• Working alongside teachers and experienced support staff

Driving Advantageous

A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle would be advantageous, particularly for placements across Peterlee and surrounding areas.

Driving is not essential, provided you can reliably travel to your placement.
