No previous school experience is required. We're looking for people who are reliable, patient and genuinely want to work with children and young people.

Your Role

You'll receive support as you develop your skills and could be involved in:

• Supporting pupils in lessons
• Working 1:1 and in small groups
• Helping pupils access learning
• Encouraging positive behaviour
• Supporting children with SEND
• Building relationships
• Supporting communication
• Encouraging independence
• Working alongside teachers and experienced TAs

Driving Advantageous

A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle would be advantageous as it can open up more opportunities across Peterlee and surrounding areas.

You do not need to be a driver to apply.
