Love working with little learners? This one’s a good’un. ✨
We’re working with a lovely independent nursery in Pontefract that’s on the lookout for a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join their team as soon as possible.
This isn’t just any nursery. It’s the kind of place where children are genuinely known, staff support each other, and no two days feel the same (in the best way).
What you’ll be doing:
- Creating a warm, safe, and engaging environment for children to learn and grow
- Supporting early development through play-based learning
- Building strong relationships with children, parents, and your team
- Helping little personalities shine, whether that’s through messy play, story time, or outdoor adventures
- Keeping on top of observations and development tracking (nothing scary, just part of the rhythm!)
What we’re looking for:
- Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification
- A caring, patient approach (you’ll need it, tiny humans keep you on your toes!)
- Someone who brings energy, ideas, and a genuine love for early years
- Team player vibes, this nursery is big on supporting each other
What’s in it for you:
- A 4-day working week (hello, extra day for yourself )
- Supportive, friendly nursery team
- A setting where you’re valued, not just another pair of hands
- The chance to make a real difference at the very start of a child’s journey
