A friendly nursery in the WF8 area is looking for a reliable and hands-on Senior Caretaker to help keep their setting safe, secure, and welcoming for children, families, and staff.

This is the perfect role for someone who enjoys variety in their day, takes pride in maintaining a well-kept environment, and doesn't mind turning their hand to the occasional DIY job.

What you'll be doing:

Holding responsibility for site keys

Opening and closing the nursery each day

️ Carrying out security checks and ensuring the site is secure

Overseeing the cleaning team and maintaining high standards across the nursery

Tackling general maintenance and odd handyman tasks when needed

Helping create a safe, tidy, and welcoming environment for everyone on site

We're looking for someone who:

✔️ Has previous caretaking, site management, facilities, or maintenance experience

✔️ Can work independently and use their initiative

✔️ Takes pride in keeping buildings and grounds looking their best

✔️ Has a practical approach to problem-solving

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
