Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with additional learning needs? We are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Poole on a full-time basis.

The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide tailored support to pupils with a range of special educational needs and learning difficulties, helping them to access the curriculum, develop their confidence and achieve their individual goals.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with varying learning difficulties and additional needs.
• Work alongside teachers to deliver engaging and accessible learning activities.
• Support pupils with their academic, social and emotional development.
• Adapt your approach to meet individual pupils' needs.
• Encourage positive behaviour, independence and confidence.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents/carers.
• Assist with classroom activities and contribute to a positive learning environment.
• Follow individual education and support plans where required.

Previous experience working within a school, SEN setting, care environment or similar role would be advantageous, although applications from candidates with relevant transferable experience are welcome.
