I'm Alex. I've spent 20 years in infrastructure, security and DevOps - security-cleared work across the majority of the UK government's technical estate, plus military, education and enterprise organisations. I built EUCart myself, end to end: the infrastructure, the backend, and the apps themselves - it's live on the App Store and Google Play right now, built to the same standards I've spent two decades holding for systems that actually can't fail.

This isn't an idea on a slide deck. The technology is done. What's missing isn't the product - it's someone to help me bring shops onto it and grow this into something real.

I'm not looking to hand out a job. I'm looking for someone I genuinely get on with, who I can trust, and who wants to build something long-term with me - a real partnership, not a transaction. If this goes well, I see this as a friendship as much as a business relationship.

What I need from you:

- You're fluent in English and speak Polish and/or Russian, and you actually understand the community EUCart serves - not just the language, but what's going on, the culture, how these shops operate and think

- Comfortable with IT and technology generally - you'll be using the seller app, email, and our tools day to day, and shouldn't need hand-holding to pick them up

- Confident writing and sending outreach emails, and happy working with people across email, phone, and face to face - real experience dealing with customers, not just behind a screen

- You're a genuinely good communicator - the kind of person shop owners trust within five minutes of talking to you- You have real drive, and you're excited by the idea itself, not just looking for any opportunity

- You want to grow - this could develop into much more than business development over time, depending on where your interests and strengths take you

Being honest about money: this is early. It'll be commission-only to start - there's no getting around that. But the plan is straightforward: as revenue grows, this moves to a proper salary plus bonuses, not commission forever. You'd be the first person the business pays a real wage, precisely because you'll have been part of building it from here. How exactly that structure and timing works - I'm genuinely open to discussing properly once we've talked and it's clear we're a good fit. I'm not going to pretend I have it all locked down; I'd rather get it right together than impose something rigid upfront.
