Managing Quantity Surveyor

A growing infrastructure contractor is looking to appoint a Managing Quantity Surveyor or experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to support its expanding workload. This role is ideally suited to a Senior Quantity Surveyor looking to step into a broader commercial leadership position, taking responsibility for multiple NEC4 contracts while helping to drive improvements across the commercial function. This position has an exceptional amount of potential progression over the coming years.

Working across major utility infrastructure projects, you'll oversee commercial delivery for key framework clients, manage a small team covering purchasing and estimating, and play a key role in improving systems, processes and overall commercial performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial delivery of multiple NEC4 contracts.
• Oversee purchasing and estimating functions.
• Drive efficiencies and improve commercial processes.
• Support the implementation of new business systems over the coming months.
• Build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Previous experience within infrastructure, utilities or civil engineering.
• Strong working knowledge of NEC4 contracts.
• Experience managing multiple contracts simultaneously.
• Leadership experience with the ability to mentor and develop a team.
• Commercially astute with a proactive approach to improving processes.
