SEN Teaching Assistant – Romford

Primary School | Full-Time | Immediate Start

Protocol Education are currently looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Romford.

The successful candidate will support pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them to engage with their learning and develop both academically and socially.

The Role:

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEN
• Support pupils with their learning and development
• Assist with classroom activities and lessons
• Encourage positive behaviour and engagement
• Work closely with teachers and other support staff
• Help pupils develop their confidence and independence
• Adapt support to meet individual pupils' needs

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN
• Experience within a primary school setting is desirable
• Patient, caring and understanding
• Confident supporting pupils with a range of needs
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable, proactive and enthusiastic
• Available to work full-time

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
