We are seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join our sixth form college in Kensington & Chelsea.

The role will primarily involve supporting Level 1 students, with the opportunity to provide additional support within Performing Arts.

The role will include:

• Providing classroom and individual support to Level 1 students
• Helping students stay engaged and focused on their learning
• Supporting students with confidence, communication and independence
• Working closely with teaching staff to meet students' individual needs
• Providing additional support within Performing Arts where appropriate

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with young people, ideally in an educational setting
• Is patient, reliable and approachable
• Can build positive relationships with students
• Has a calm and encouraging manner
• Is flexible and willing to support across different areas of the college

Essential: A valid DBS certificate registered on the Update Service.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
