We are working with secondary schools across Tunbridge Wells and the surrounding areas who are looking for creative and enthusiastic Drama Teachers for supply and longer-term placements.
Whether you're looking for the flexibility of day-to-day work or would prefer a consistent long-term position, we have opportunities to suit different preferences and availability.
The role

• Teaching Drama across KS3 and KS4
• Delivering practical and theory-based lessons
• Teaching GCSE Drama where required
• Developing students' confidence, creativity and performance skills
• Planning engaging lessons for longer-term placements
• Supporting students with different abilities
• Managing behaviour and maintaining a positive classroom environment
• Working collaboratively with the wider Performing Arts team

We are looking for:

• QTS or relevant teaching experience
• Experience teaching Drama at secondary level
• Strong subject knowledge
• A creative and engaging approach to teaching
• Confidence managing practical lessons and groups
• Good classroom management
• The ability to motivate and inspire students
