Senior Buyer - Residential Housebuilding (Rugby Area)

An established and highly regarded housebuilder is seeking a Senior Buyer to join their team in the Rugby area.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced procurement professional to take a leading role within a quality-driven developer, contributing to the successful delivery of multiple residential projects.

Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 + package

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading the procurement of materials and subcontract packages across multiple developments

• Managing and developing key supplier and subcontractor relationships

• Negotiating contracts to achieve best value and maintain commercial targets

• Overseeing procurement programmes to ensure timely delivery to site

• Supporting and mentoring junior members of the buying team

• Working closely with Commercial, Technical, and Construction departments

   

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a Senior Buyer or Buyer role within residential housebuilding

• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills

• In-depth knowledge of materials procurement and supply chain management

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively

• Leadership or mentoring experience preferred
