Senior Project Manager - St Fergus

Contract | Outside IR35 | 40 Months

 

Navartis are recruiting for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a major Design & Build project at St Fergus for National Gas Transmission.

The project involves the T3 Valve Replacement, with a value in excess of £30m, delivered under NEC4 Option A. This is a key infrastructure project requiring strong leadership, technical coordination and the ability to manage complex works around critical fixed outages.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the delivery of a £30m+ Design & Build project, covering civil, mechanical and EC&I works.

• Manage the replacement of 44 large-bore valves, typically 36 inches.

• Oversee deep excavations, offsite fabrication, mechanical installation and heavy crane operations.

• Coordinate bypass installation and commissioning activities.

• Manage long-lead valve procurement and third-party design interfaces.

• Ensure works are delivered safely, to programme and budget, in line with NEC4 Option A requirements.

• Coordinate project teams, subcontractors and key stakeholders to meet critical outage deadlines.

 

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager delivering complex infrastructure or engineering projects.

• Strong background in mechanical, civil or pipeline/gas transmission works.

• Experience managing design and build projects, major installations and complex outage programmes.

• Strong commercial, contractual and stakeholder management skills, ideally with NEC4 experience.
