Maths and Science Teacher
We are looking for a full-time Maths & Science teacher who can confidently teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to develop your teaching around the areas you are strongest in. We’re not looking for someone who simply delivers a scheme of work, we want a teacher who notices when a class isn’t with them, changes direction when needed and gets students thinking.
What matters to us
We’re looking for a teacher who brings energy, curiosity and ambition to the classroom. Someone who enjoys finding different ways to explain a tricky concept, who can turn a good lesson into a memorable one, and who takes pride in seeing students make progress.
You will need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England.
- Recent and relevant experience teaching in UK secondary schools.
- Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics and Science, with the ability to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- A sound understanding of the English secondary education system, including the National Curriculum and GCSE expectations.
- Experience planning and delivering well-structured lessons and assessing student progress.
- The ability to establish positive relationships with students while maintaining high standards of behaviour and achievement.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues, parents and carers.
- The right to work in the UK for the duration of the appointment.
- A commitment to safeguarding, professional conduct and the wider responsibilities of working in a school.
We are particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate a successful track record of teaching in UK schools and who can bring both confidence in their subject knowledge and enthusiasm to the classroom.
