You will work closely with support staff and other professionals to ensure students can access learning, develop numeracy skills, and make meaningful progress both academically and personally.Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, differentiated maths teaching to students with a range of complex SEND needs.Adapt lessons, resources, and teaching strategies to support diverse learning styles and abilities.Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and other professionals to support individual learning journeys.Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes confidence, independence, and achievement.Monitor, assess, and celebrate student progress, using data to inform future planning.Build positive, trusting relationships with students, families, and colleagues. Who We're Looking For Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.Experience teaching Maths, ideally within a SEND, specialist, or inclusive educational setting.Strong understanding of Autism Spectrum Conditions, learning difficulties, and complex additional needs.A patient, resilient, and compassionate approach to teaching and learning.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.A genuine commitment to inclusive education and improving outcomes for every learner.
