We are recruiting for a confident and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join a school in South Shields.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced TA or HLTA who is confident taking responsibility for supporting lessons, working with small groups and providing targeted intervention.

The successful candidate will:

• Have previous experience working as a TA or HLTA
• Be confident supporting whole-class and small-group activities
• Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Be adaptable and confident working with pupils with additional needs
• Work effectively alongside teaching and support staff

A relevant qualification and experience within SEN education would be advantageous.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
