Protocol Education are recruiting Sports Coaches to work as Teaching Assistants across South Shields.

You already know how to motivate people, manage groups, build trust and encourage teamwork. These skills can transfer incredibly well into a school environment.

You'll support young people throughout the school day, not just during PE.

Your Day Could Include:

• Supporting lessons
• Working 1:1 with pupils
• Small-group activities
• Supporting PE and sport
• Encouraging positive behaviour
• Supporting SEMH needs
• Building relationships
• Mentoring pupils
• Encouraging confidence and resilience
• Supporting pupils during break and lunchtime
• Helping pupils develop independence

• Experienced TAs with a strong sporting interest

You don't need previous school experience if you have the right attitude and ability to engage young people.

DBS & Immediate Start

If you have an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, this is advantageous and may help you start more quickly.

If you don't currently have one, that's not a problem — you'll need to be able to apply for an Enhanced DBS ASAP and complete the required safeguarding checks.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
