Protocol Education is seeking an experienced and dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to provide 1:1 support for a pupil within a KS1 class at a welcoming primary school in Southend-on-Sea. The Role

• September 2026 start
• Full-time position
• Providing dedicated 1:1 support to a pupil within a KS1 classroom
• Supporting learning, engagement, and social development
• Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
• Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Monitoring progress and adapting support strategies as needed

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or Teaching Assistant
• Experience supporting children with additional needs is desirable
• Confident working on a 1:1 basis

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Passion for helping children achieve their full potential
