Are you a caring, patient and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant looking for flexible work in local primary schools?

We are currently recruiting Daily Supply SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with a range of additional needs within mainstream primary school settings. This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who are passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.

The Role

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN
  • Assist children with needs including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, SEMH and learning delays
  • Support pupils both in the classroom and during structured interventions
  • Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in learning
  • Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to support individual learning goals
  • Adapt to different school environments and pupil needs

We Are Looking For

  • Previous experience working with children, ideally in an education setting
  • Experience supporting children with SEN is desirable
  • A calm, patient and nurturing approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A positive, flexible and proactive attitude
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
