We are recruiting SEN Support Teaching Assistants to work on a daily supply basis across mainstream primary schools. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are dedicated to helping children access learning, build confidence, and thrive in the classroom.

The Role

  • Provide tailored support to pupils with Special Educational Needs
  • Work on a 1:1 basis and with small intervention groups
  • Support children with a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs, and learning difficulties
  • Assist teachers in creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment
  • Promote positive behaviour, social development, and emotional wellbeing
  • Adapt quickly to different school settings and pupil requirements

Requirements

  • Experience working with children or young people
  • Previous SEN experience is desirable but not essential
  • A patient, caring and resilient approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting children to succeed
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
