Protocol Education are currently working in partnership with a number of welcoming and forward-thinking secondary schools across Stockton-on-Tees who are looking to appoint a passionate Religious Education Teacher from September 2026.

The Role
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and thought-provoking Religious Education lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students explore a range of beliefs, cultures, and ethical issues whilst developing strong analytical and communication skills.
Alongside your teaching responsibilities, you'll also take on the role of Form Tutor, supporting students' personal development, wellbeing, and academic progress throughout the school year.
You'll be joining a collaborative department where ideas, resources, and best practice are shared to ensure both staff and students thrive.

The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has experience teaching Religious Education at KS3 and KS4
- Can inspire, challenge, and motivate learners of all abilities
- Is passionate about creating engaging and inclusive lessons
- Enjoys working collaboratively and sharing ideas with colleagues
- Is committed to ongoing professional development
Position Details

- Location: Stockton-on-Tees
- Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
- Pay: MPS/UPS, paid to scale
- Planning and Marking: Included
- Form Tutor Responsibilities: Included
