Protocol Education are currently recruiting for a Reprographics Assistant to join a secondary school in Middlesbrough from September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised, reliable and proactive individual to become an integral part of the school's support team, ensuring staff have access to high-quality printed and digital resources to support teaching and learning.
The Role
As a Reprographics Assistant, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the reprographics and printing service within the school. You will work closely with teaching and administrative staff to ensure resources are produced accurately, efficiently and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Producing and photocopying teaching and learning materials
- Preparing, collating and distributing printed resources
- Operating and maintaining reprographics and photocopying equipment
- Managing printing requests and prioritising urgent work
- Ensuring documents are produced to a high standard and within agreed deadlines
- Supporting staff with basic printing and document formatting requirements
- Maintaining an organised reprographics area and monitoring stock levels
- Ordering and replenishing paper, toner and other stationery supplies
- Handling confidential documents appropriately and maintaining discretion
- Providing general administrative support when required
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Previous experience in a reprographics, administration, office or school-based role
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and competing deadlines
- Good IT skills and confidence using Microsoft Office
- A reliable, proactive and flexible approach to work
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels
- The ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
Previous experience working within a school environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
This is a full-time supply position starting in September 2026, offering an excellent opportunity to work within a busy secondary school environment and gain valuable experience in an education setting.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
