Are you a Psychology graduate looking for real-world experience working directly with children and young people?
Protocol Education are recruiting Psychology Graduates for 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant opportunities across Sunderland.
This is a fantastic opportunity to put your understanding of psychology, behaviour and development into practice.
The Role
You'll provide personalised support to an individual pupil, helping them:
- Access classroom learning
- Develop confidence
- Manage emotions
- Build communication skills
- Develop social skills
- Improve independence
- Engage positively with school
- Develop positive relationships
You will work closely with the class teacher and wider SEND team to understand the pupil's individual needs and provide consistent support.

You don't need extensive school experience. We can consider graduates with relevant experience from care, youth work, mentoring, volunteering, coaching or support work, as well as those completely new to education.
