Psychology Graduate – SEN Learning Support Assistant

Protocol Education are recruiting a Psychology Graduate Learning Support Assistant to work with pupils who require additional support within education.

You'll gain valuable experience working directly with young people while developing practical skills around SEND, behaviour, communication and learning.

Your Role

You may be supporting pupils with:

  • Autism
  • ADHD
  • SEMH
  • Speech and language needs
  • Learning difficulties
  • Behavioural challenges
  • Additional learning needs

Your responsibilities could include:

  • 1:1 and small-group support
  • Supporting pupils during lessons
  • Encouraging engagement
  • Supporting interventions
  • Reinforcing learning
  • Helping pupils develop independence
  • Supporting emotional wellbeing
  • Encouraging positive behaviour
  • Building strong relationships
  • Working alongside teaching and SEND staff
