

Sen Teaching Assistant
Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant, Support Worker, Care Worker, or Behaviour Mentor looking to transition into education?
We are recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants for a specialist school supporting pupils with complex learning needs, autism, sensory processing differences and physical disabilities.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups
- Delivering structured learning activities
- Using visual aids, PECS, Makaton or AAC strategies
- Supporting emotional regulation and sensory breaks
- Assisting with mobility and personal care where required
This role would suit candidates with backgrounds in:
- SEND education
- Residential care
- Healthcare
- Youth work
- Support work

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
