

SEND Teaching Assistant

We're recruiting enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistants to support pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs, and learning difficulties in specialist schools across Sunderland.
You'll play a vital role in helping pupils engage with learning while supporting their emotional and social development.
Your role:
- Provide classroom and 1:1 support.
- Adapt learning resources to meet individual needs.
- Promote positive behaviour and wellbeing.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and therapists.
- Celebrate every pupil's achievements.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
