About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Sutton-in-Ashfield. The successful candidate will be passionate about delivering engaging and inspiring lessons, creating a positive learning environment, and helping pupils achieve their full potential.

This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to develop their career within a nurturing and inclusive school setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress and attainment.
• Differentiate teaching and learning activities to meet the needs of all pupils.
• Foster positive behaviour and maintain effective classroom management.
• Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support pupil achievement.
• Contribute to extracurricular activities and the wider life of the school.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching within a primary school setting is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire, motivate, and engage young learners.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
• Strong organisational and classroom management skills.
• ECTs are encouraged to apply.
