Are you a passionate SEN Teacher looking for a rewarding role in the Sutton area? We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed professional to join a supportive educational setting, helping pupils with Special Educational Needs develop the skills, confidence, and independence they need to succeed.

The Role

As an SEN Teacher, you will work with students who have a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties. You will deliver engaging, personalised lessons that cater to individual learning styles while fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
Support pupils in achieving their educational and personal development goals.
Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies where necessary.
Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists, families, and external agencies.
Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every pupil can thrive.

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Experience teaching students with Special Educational Needs is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies and best practices.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
A patient, resilient, and compassionate approach to education.
