The role sits within the Marketing and Business Development function, working closely with Business Development Managers, Sector Sponsors, Bid Coordinators and Bid Managers.

2. About the Role

The Business Development Researcher and Analyst will support the Marketing and Business Development teams with market research, opportunity identification, business planning and CRM management.

The role will involve monitoring tender and bid opportunities, researching prospects, maintaining business development information and identifying relevant industry events, exhibitions and awards.

You will also support the company's presence across LinkedIn and other social media platforms, helping the wider team stay informed about relevant industry activity.

3. The key responsibilities for this Business Development Researcher and Analyst role are:

• Review daily tender and bid site bulletins

• Identify potential business opportunities and prospects

• Pass relevant opportunities to Business Development Managers

• Support the development and maintenance of the business plan

• Maintain accurate and reliable CRM data

• Update and manage information within Salesforce

• Maintain the company's LinkedIn and relevant social media presence

• Research relevant industry information and opportunities

• Identify suitable industry events and exhibitions

• Identify relevant industry awards

• Share event, exhibition and award opportunities with Business Development Managers

• Support the team at industry events and exhibitions where required

4. Experience required for this Business Development Researcher and Analyst role are:

• Experience in research, analysis, business development or a related role

• Ability to research and identify relevant business opportunities

• Good attention to detail when managing business information and CRM data

• Ability to communicate information clearly to internal teams

• Ability to work effectively with Business Development and Bid teams
