

SEN Teaching Assistant
A welcoming and Ofsted-rated 'Good' school in Telford is looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. This position is ideal for experienced Teaching Assistants, graduates considering a career in education, or aspiring teachers looking to gain valuable school-based experience before undertaking teacher training.
We are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant who:
- Has experience supporting children with additional needs, or a genuine interest in developing within this area
- Can follow EHCPs (Education, Health and Care Plans) and implement personalised learning strategies
- Is passionate about making a positive impact on the educational journey of students with Special Educational Needs
- Creates a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment where all children can thrive
- Demonstrates patience, empathy, and understanding when supporting a range of learning and behavioural needs
- Takes a proactive and flexible approach, adapting confidently to the needs of students and the school
