SEN Teaching Assistant, Primary School, Bath

A welcoming primary school in Bath is looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. If you have experience working with children with Special Educational Needs and want a role that's genuinely rewarding, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll be doing:

  • Supporting pupils with a range of SEND, including Autism, ADHD and speech and language needs
  • Providing one-to-one and small group support in the classroom
  • Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored learning
  • Encouraging positive behaviour, independence and emotional wellbeing
  • Helping to create a safe, engaging and inclusive learning environment

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has previous experience supporting children with SEND (essential)
  • Is patient, caring and resilient
  • Builds positive relationships with pupils and colleagues
  • Is passionate about helping every child achieve their best

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
