The Role

As a Breakfast Club Assistant, you will help create a safe, calm, and enjoyable environment for pupils before the school day begins. You will supervise children, assist with breakfast, and support a range of activities to ensure pupils start their day happy and ready to learn.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervising children before the start of the school day
• Supporting with the serving and clearing of breakfast
• Encouraging positive behaviour and social interaction
• Engaging children in games, activities, and creative tasks
• Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all pupils
• Working closely with school staff to provide a welcoming environment

Requirements

• Experience working with children in schools, childcare settings, clubs, camps, or similar environments
• A positive, caring, and proactive approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• A genuine passion for supporting children's development and wellbeing
