The Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with additional needs.
Support students with Autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, SEMH needs, and other learning challenges.
Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to implement tailored support strategies.
Encourage pupil engagement, confidence, and independence.
Help create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
Support pupils academically, socially, and emotionally throughout the school day.

The Ideal Candidate

✔ Experience working with children is desirable
✔ SEN experience is preferred but not essential. The right attitude, patience, and willingness to learn are just as important
✔ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
✔ A calm, positive, and adaptable approach
✔ Passionate about supporting young people to achieve their goals
✔ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
