School Cleaner Required – Watford Primary School

Location: Watford, Hertfordshire
Hours: Part time/ Full Time
Contract: Flexible - Term Time plus school holidays 
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

We are seeking a reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic School Cleaner to join a friendly primary school in Watford. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices and communal areas
• Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors
• Cleaning washrooms and replenishing supplies
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
• Sanitising high-touch surfaces throughout the school
• Ensuring cleaning equipment is used safely and stored correctly
• Reporting any maintenance or health and safety concerns

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Be dependable, punctual and organised
• Have previous cleaning experience (school experience desirable but not essential)
• Take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Be able to work independently and as part of a team
• Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
