We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to work within schools across Bradford. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Teaching Assistants looking to progress, qualified HLTAs, or education professionals who are confident leading learning and supporting pupils to achieve their full potential.

The Role

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school, working closely with teachers to deliver high-quality education and providing cover where required.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher where appropriate

  • Supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups

  • Working alongside teachers to plan and deliver engaging learning activities

  • Helping pupils with a range of learning, social, emotional and behavioural needs

  • Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to teaching staff

  • Creating a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment

  • Upholding safeguarding procedures and school expectations at all times

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

✅ HLTA status or significant experience in a Teaching Assistant role

✅ Strong communication and interpersonal skills

✅ Confidence leading whole-class learning when required

✅ A proactive, organised and flexible approach

✅ The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families

✅ A genuine passion for education and supporting young people to succeed
